Spirent TestCenter: Why does the RFC-2544 results show higher Mbps rate per iteration than the actual port speed?
Environment/Versions
For the RFC-2544 results, when set to display load in percentage, the max load is 100%, but with Mbps it combines all the ports total rate.
The results shown here is a test with eight 10G ports.
Answer
It is an expected behavior as we are showing the result in one row for each iteration and it is adding all ports traffic and showing full Mbps traffic.
The RFC does not mention anything particular about this aspect in the reporting format.
