Environment/Versions This article provides the flow to successfully perform iTest GUI updates from the online updates site.  Answer Prerequisites: Close all running instances of iTest Navigate to the location of iTest installation folder (It is recommended that iTest is installed in the default directory) and check that the user you are logged in with has ownership over the iTest installation folder Open iTest installation folder and provide execute permissions to configuration folder: chmod +x configuration/ Run iTest Install the patch following steps below: Click Window > Preferences On the Preferences page, open the Install/Update group and check Available Software Sites To begin the update process: Click Help > Check for Updates. In the Available Updates dialog box, select iTest and click Next Review what will be installed and agree to licensing. Click Next in the remaining pages to finish the wizard When the update completes, a dialog box prompts you to restart iTest After the installation completed you should verify in Help menu > About iTest > iTest Installation Details if iTest RCP build version is the same as the one found in "check for updates"
