Symptoms Once 802.1x is activated and devices are authenticated, when you try to ARP it fails with an error: 19/10/04 13:04:02.352 ERROR 6788     - fmwk.bll.core.rpc    - error msgs: 99 Invalid input parameters 19/10/04 13:04:02.352 ERROR 6788     - fmwk.bll.core.rpc    - Rpc manager received errors; 1 error msgs  SeqNum 99 Msgr port //10.108.8.20/1/7 req learning_1.StartLearning code -10001 faultMsg Invalid input parameters 19/10/04 13:04:02.352 INFO  6788     - user.event           - IL on port //10.108.8.20/1/7 has error: Invalid input parameters Environment STC 4.99 Release STC 5.02 Release 802.1x  ARP   Explanation/Resolution Fix = STC 5.04 release (December 2019) CR has been opened: CR-01408053 Subject: 5.02 - ARP does not work after 802.1X is activated Date opened: 10/4/2019 9:40 AM Date Closed: 12/12/2019 Fix: 5.04 Release (December 2019)   Workaround: Using "Create Device" wizard, create just the device, WITHOUT enable/configure any technology After the device is created, go ahead and activate and configure 802.1x using 802.1X tab  Make sure to APPLY Root Cause Bug - When using "Create Device" wizard to enable and configure 802.1x protocol, this creates a device with only 1 interlace - Ethernet interface which is used by the 802.1x device. Activate and configure 802.1x protocol using Create Devices Wizard creates the devices on a "faulty" state, where there is only 1 interface, which is the ethernet interface used by dot1x device:   Activate and configure 802.1x AFTER device creation using 802.1X tab creates the device in the correct way   ​
