Description VisionWorks 22.1 Release: End-to-end Mobile Service Assurance is critical to be able to proactively identify network issues that would impact customer experience (CX). In the time of increasing network complexity, mobile service assurance must not only focus on fault monitoring and performance management but provide end-to-end visibility.  The assurance solution should rely on analytics to build a tight, cross-correlated models for network and service data. Having a single platform to provide customers a 360-degree view is critical in being able to correlate and provide proactive fault isolation across the entire network. VisionWorks 22.1 provides mobile network operators the ability to enable video assurance, network slice assurance, along with E911 automated testing to name a few. This release will provide the possibility to demonstrate the synthetic traffic capability across the entire network and across all network domains. The newly introduced features will help new and existing customers as they evolve their network as part of their 5G strategy.           Release 22.1 Key New Features  5G / Wi-Fi Handover:  Co-Existence is critical as Wi-Fi is best leveraged for indoor applications while 5G is required for mobility. Provides uninterrupted wireless access for consumers, mobile workers, organizations and hundred+ other applications. With 5G roll out, there will be a need to support inter technology handovers across multiple RATs for data service. VisionWorks now supports the interworking of untrusted Wi-Fi and 5G including handovers over two Radio Access Technologies (RATs) with KPI monitoring for mobility performance. The untrusted Wi-Fi access technology is connected to the 5G core through a N3IWF network element.   Video Service Assurance  VisionWorks supports Video Service Assurance (VSA) for YouTube application. As part of our synthetic traffic generation suite, VSA allows MNOs to be able to generate traffic. Provide proactive monitoring of critical KPIs to ensure faults are captured and isolated before they become major issues.  Latency Segmentation & Network Slice Assurance  VisionWorks simulates 4K and Gaming video traffic as part of the Synthetic Traffic Suite to monitor the One Way Latency (OWL) across the entire network and across all network domains. With UDP OWL segmentation, the user can now emulate user personas (using configurable UDP traffic) and measurement of one-way latency along with other metrics. The DTA App is also enhanced to support configurable UDP data test. Supported metrics that are reported include: avg, min, max, 90th percentile.  E911 Automated Testing Support  FCC mandated testing requires Mobile Network Operators to test their E911 functionality after any network updates. This feature automates E911 calls to PSAP with a person who can listen in, which is required by the FCC, thus eliminating the need to send costly testers to each location while automating PSAP calls. These test calls are then bridged to a human tester who will manually confirm in our VisionWorks platform if: Verbal communication is confirmed (Between tester and PSAP Operator) Correct PSAP routing took place (i.e. we are in Delaware and not New Jersey Longitude and Latitude need to be within the range of the cell  5G SMS VTA Support  5G SMS can be sent either via the control plane via IMS or, via the user plane via the UPF.
