Spirent is pleased to announce the release of CyberFlood v24.5 and Avalanche v5.49. Both solutions feature new capabilities that expand the value and use cases for our powerful security and performance testing solutions. As content and maintenance releases, these versions include new features, in addition to numerous critical issue resolutions.

Release CyberFlood v24.5
Key new features
  • Advanced Mixed Traffic (AMT):
    • New subnet settings: A grid view of subnet addresses & IPSec options which allow users to compare subnet
    • SMTP: add support for real files: Users can easily add their own custom files to SMTP messages by simply adding them into the test for more realistic email testing.
  • CFv:
    • Add AWS ENA instrumentation stats to realtime.csv: Quickly correlate AWS ENA monitoring stats, such as Exceeding PPS or Bandwidth, to changes in the CFv traffic generation in real time for superior stats analysis
  • CF400:
    • Support for 4x100G 16-core profile: Optimizes bi-directional bandwidth and improves cable management
  • Run-Time Options Editor:
    • Add option for "Enable ARP/ND Learning" – Allow users to send requests to every client server IP, improving overall test realism
