Spirent is pleased to announce the release of CyberFlood v24.6 and Avalanche v5.50. Both solutions feature new capabilities that expand the value and use cases for our powerful security and performance testing solutions. As content and maintenance releases, these versions include new features, in addition to numerous critical issue resolutions.

Release CyberFlood v24.6
Key new features
  • ​CF400 Multi-Speed Appliance:
    • CF400 with 8 x QSFP28 ports, supporting 8x100G / 8x40G and 16x10G breakout speeds.
  • Advanced Mixed Traffic (AMT):
    • For TC Apps user can now upload custom TLS CA Certs for use with DUT for more advanced testing.
    • FTP, POP3, SMTP, Smart Builder and Action List defaults are updated to be consistent with the Throughput with Mixed Traffic test.
  • Projects:
    • Easily apply goal seeking to all tests. This feature allows user to:
      • Automatically save Goal Seeking results directly to the test.
      • Use SimUsers load type to execute Goal Seeking runs efficiently.
  • CFc Cloud Native:
    • Support custom user upload files: User can now upload custom content such as TLS certs, media, and formsDB files for a personalized testing experience
  • SSL VPN Global Protect:
    • Add an option to disable sending ICMP packets to the VPN gateway
  • CFv ESXi 8.0:
    • Update CFv OVA VM hardware compatibility for improve performance
