REACT: Attempt to install REACT Window GUI client on Windows 2008 or 2012 Server and it fails with error unable to install Andale Line Draw font.

Objective/Summary

This will provide a work-around for installing the REACT GUI on a Windows 2008 Server or Windows 2012 Server.  .

Environment/Versions

Note: Spirent does not claim support of Windows 2008 Server or Windows 2012 Server and can not guarantee full REACT functionality.  This is a work-around only to install the REACT client.

Procedure

To work-around problem.
After running the install package and receiving error, navigate to the directory where REACT is installed.  Default is C:\Hekimian\React2001.
In directory will be a log file showing information from the installation.  Name will be r2001_install_new or install_log.
Open the file with word pad or other text editor.

At the end of the file will be a line showing where the installation package attempted to install the font. 
Example:
C:\USERS\username\WINDOWS\FONTS\ANDALD.TTF

Create the directory noted.  Example for above would be: C:\USERS\username\WINDOWS\FONTS\.

Run the install package again.  The install will complete without error.
Copy the ANDALD.TTF to the C:\Windows\Fonts directory.
