Environment/Versions
  • Any module that support Priority Based Scheduling.
Procedure
  • Set the Generator to Priority Based Scheduling.
  • Create a streamblock.
    • The General tab in the Streamblock editor has all the settings to set the bursts. See snap shot below.
      • Set your frame size and how many frames within a burst.
      • Set the IFG within the burst which determines the rate of the burst. (how fast the frames within the burst will be transmitted)
      • Set the Inter Burst Gap which will determine how often the burst will occur.

  • Adding more streams with different values can create different scenarios as needed.
  • A steady state stream can also be created.
