The DLS-5000 Series noise generators are slow to load all the application because all the noise files that are loaded have to be uncompressed and loaded. Some of the larger noise files are 4G in size with large amounts of individule files. A system with all the noise files can take as long as hour to uncompress and load all the files. it is recommended that you take this into account when rebooting a noise generator. The DLS 5000 series noise generators are designed for continued use service.
