The GSS6400 will not boot with an external SATA drive connected
Answer
Attach a display and keyboard, and watch the screen while booting.
If an error message is seen saying the "BIOS is corrupt" and then the system does not load it is likely that the internal SATA cable that goes to the rear panel is faulty
The unit will require repair - contact Spirent Applications Support for further instructions
