Spirent TestCenter: What TCP port numbers need to be opened on a firewall to communicate with the AX/4000?
Answer
I traced the messages between GUI and AX chassis and saw all packets are encaped over TCP. AX Chassis always use TCP port 1200 and the GUI uses TCP port 17xx.
I informed customer of what I found, and their IT reconfigured the firewall to enable the port numbers the AX is using, and now they can connect to the AX.
