What are hits and clips, relative to Resilient testing, in Abacus?

Answer

hit is an interruption in the speech path that occurs during the time that the tone is being received.  This is pointing out interruptions or a break in the tone, while and/or after the tone has started.

Whereas with a clipping… a clip is a disturbance to the tone that occured at the leading edge of the tone burst.”  Here Abacus has detected a missing part of the beginning or start of that tone sequence.  (Please keep in mind that there may be several tone sequences in a given call, depending on the duration of your call.)

As for ‘Counts’,  this column shows how many occurrences (of Hits or Clippings) during the test run.
