How do I configure the AMBR settings on Landslide SGW Nodal test case using the wizard?

Answer

  1. In the SGW Nodal test case, on the S11/S5 tab, select GTPv2 version 8.0.0 to enable the AMBR configuration.
  2. On the S11/S5 tab, in the APN Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate Information (or AMBR) pane, the button on the right of the Downlink and Uplink fields will appear and allow you to configure the rate using the calculation wizard detailed in the Landslide online help.
  3. Clicking on the button actually opens the wizard. With the range in Kilobits per second if you keep the mouse on the field. For both Downlink and Uplink the range goes from 1 to 8640 Kilobits per second. If you enter 8640 in the wizard window and click OK, the wizard will close and the AMBR parameter will be populated with the converted parameter which will be 254 for this example.
  4. Repeat the same for the Uplink and the Extended Rates. For the Extended Rates the range is now from 8700 to 256000 Kilobits per second.
  5. For the Extended-2 Rates, you will have to put in a value within the range of 1 to 254 corresponding to the rate you need to configure as there is not wizard button.
