What does the DHCPv6 IA_NA option stand for and what does it do?

Answer

IA_NA =Identity Association for Non-Temporary Addresses

It's used in the Solicit message, much like DHCPv4's option 50, to request a specific address.  Note that with IA_NA, multiple addresses can be requested.
