Avalanche: Why STOP commands don't work with MATCH on http 302 server responses?
Environment/Versions
Avalanche Commander
Answer
When 'follow re-directs' is enabled (Client/Profile HTTP:User tab) Avalanche is unable to issue a STOP command (i.e. STOP USER, STOP LOOP, STOP TEST) for a 302 currently in-progress of being followed by the SimUser.
To accomplish the test goal ( STOP if 302 redirect contains the following (MATCH) ) the following steps need to be taken:
Disable 'follow re-directs'
Place the re-direct URI directly in the action list, this will manually follow the re-direct allowing the Avalanche STOP logic to trigger as it will no longer auto follow the location or meta tag URI.
