Avalanche: Why is my https traffic failing with SSL fatal alert (2) handshake failure (40) ?

Answer

This error is usually seen when the client hello does not send a compatable cipher to the server.
To update the cipher list sent from the Avalanche clients go to the Client/Profiles SSL tab and review your current cipher selection.
