8100 Radio Access: Using stand-alone SR 3420 and AirAccess, how do I configure the exact Downlink frequency?

1. Launch the AirAccessHS GUI

2. Right click on the Node-B icon and select 'Configure Node-B' from the menu appearing

3. Select your desired band and enter the channel number in the 'TX Channel number' box. The exact DL frequency will be calculated based on the formula specified in 3GPP 25.101 section 5.4.3

 

Examples for band I, II & V:

 

Band I:

UARFCN (UL) = 5*(ULFreq)            UARFCN (UL) range 9612 to 9888

ULFreq=UARFCN (UL) / 5

UARFCN (DL) = 5*(DLFreq)            UARFCN (UL) range 10562 to 10838

DLFreq = UARFCN (DL) / 5

 

Band II:

UARFCN (UL) = 5*(ULFreq)           UARFCN (UL) range 9262 to 9538

ULFreq=UARFCN (UL) / 5               

UARFCN (DL) = 5*(DLFreq)            UARFCN (DL) range 9662 to 9938

DLFreq = UARFCN (DL) / 5

 

Band V:

UARFCN (UL) = 5*(ULFreq)            UARFCN (UL) range 4132 to 4233

ULFreq=UARFCN (UL) / 5               

UARFCN (DL) = 5*(DLFreq)            UARFCN (DL) range 4357 to 4458

DLFreq = UARFCN (DL) / 5
