iTest: How to overcome the error "Workspace in use or cannot be created,choose a different one"?

Answer
Close all instances of iTest, go to workspace directory and delete the following file.
".lock" file in .metadata folder (this folder is hidden in Linux environment)which is located in workspace directory.
".serverprocess" file in workspace directory.
Start iTest.
