Spirent TestCenter: How to add wildcard for Router ID field in PPPoE for circuit id, remote/session id and pppoe custom option ?

Answer

  • The current implementation in 4.10 allows to set the remote/session id and circuit id in the pppoe settings, when enabling Relay Agent functionality.

  • Note that the default values are in ASCII format.
  • This can be changed to HEX when editing these fields.
  • So when capturing the packets be aware of this setting as the actual values will be different.
