Umetrix Voice: Software Cannot Connect to Audio Server


This article contains tips for troubleshooting the case where the Settings → Voice Quality → Validate Settings button returns an error.

If you receive the message Settings are invalid:

  • Confirm that you are entering the correct Username and Password
  • Contact support for validation of the correct Username and Password

If you receive the message There was an error communicating with the server.  Please check your network connection and try again:

  • This message indicates that Umetrix Voice has encountered an error in communicating with the Audio Server.
  • Communication issues frequently occur when working over a restricted network or VPN.
  • Try using an unsecured network such as a data card or home connection when using Umetrix Voice.
  • Confirm that you are running the latest release of Umetrix Voice.
