I am trying to connect to an existing Spirent TestCenter Lab Server session but the GUI is getting stuck at "Starting UI...". What should I do?

If you are trying to connect to an existing Spirent TestCenter Lab Server session but the GUI is getting stuck at...

Then for some reason the "BLL" is hung waiting for something else and not responding to the client trying to connect.   So before doing anything else:

  • It'd be good to have someone from Spirent take a look at it while in that state

    OR
     
  • Please perform the following steps?
    1. Leave the GUI that’s stuck as is
    2. Open a new GUI instance on your PC (not through the lab server)
    3. Connect to the chassis involved in the Lab Server test you are trying to connect to
    4. FAQ13497 - Retrieve the "Chassis logs"
    5. FAQ13498 - Retrieve the "Port logs"
    6. FAQ13499 - Generate and retrieve the "Diagnostic Report"
    7. Send the Diagnostic Report" to Spirent Support
