Spirent TestCenter: How does one configure rate adjustment based on individual StreamBlocks or Ports in the RFC 2544 Asymmetric Throughput test?

Answer
  • It is possible to adjust rates based on individual streamblocks that lose or do not lose traffic, when one runs the RFC2544 Asymmetric Test Wizard -> Configure RFC 2544 Throughput -> Profile Allocation: per Side, Load Spec Mode: per stream and Back-off mode: Failed rates.

  • It is possible to adjust rates based on individual ports that lose or do not lose traffic, when one runs the Asymmetric Test Wizard -> Configure RFC 2544 Throughput -> Profile Allocation: per Port, Load Spec Mode: per port and Back-off mode: Failed rates.
  • NOTE: If one edits the Asymmetric RFC 2544 Throughput Test - these parameters are found and editable under the Throughput Profiles
