Spirent TestCenter: How is the delay measurement calculated in EOAM/Y.1731 DMM?

Answer
  • Round Trip time = (RxTimeb–TxTimeStampf)
  • Round Trip Transmission time = (RxTimeb–TxTimeStampf)–(TxTimeStampb–RxTimeStampf)
  • DUT processing time = (TxTimeStampb–RxTimeStampf)
     

Note that people miss the Round Trip Transmission time in the GUI because they have to scroll further to the right.



You may need to set the common time source.
