Pre-installation tasks: Check for any previous versions of RQM in that system and un-install it.
Use of Mozilla Firefox or IE8/IE9 is recommended Installation.
Download the RQM, copy that folder and extract the zip folder. Start the installation by double clicking the Launchpad.exe file.
If you are installing for the first time then you must install the “IBM Installation Manager “(which will be installed by default when we are installing any IBM products).
Make sure that selected user mode for installation is Administrator.
Click on “Custom Install” section which will be at the bottom of the wizard and start the installation.
We will find 2 links:
1. Jazz team server 2. CCM, QM/RM.

2. CCM, QM/RM.
We need to install the both.
Start the installation with Jazz Team server. Give the required credentials and save the credentials.
Here you have the options like selected packages, license agreements, installation folder location, “To install tomcat server” etc. All the options specified above will be selected by default, click next and finish the installation.
Now come back to the RQM Launchpad wizard and click CCM, QM/RM link. Now the IBM Installation manager starts and again it will ask for username and password. Give the same credentials which were specified for first installation above.
Here again you will have the options selected packages, CCM, QM, RM, license agreement, etc and all the options above will be selected by default.
After completing the installation of RQM we need to configure the files for iTest adapter.
Download the xxxxxxxx.RQM.ZIP from CSC (http://support.spirentcom.com).
Install the latest iTest build and copy the "xxxxxxxx.RQM.ZIP" configuration files into jazz team server installation folders.
Extract the "xxxxxxxx.RQM.ZIP" in “C” drive. This extracted folder contains 3 files fanfare-profile, Installation document & fanfare-update-site.zip folder. Now create a new folder “fanfare-RQM” inside C:RQM and copy the “fanfare-update-site.zip” to it.
Now we have to specify the “URL” in the config file.
Open file “C:RQM fanfare-profile.ini” and modify the URL in the first line as url=file:C:/RQM/fanfare-RQM. Save the file, close it and this update config file “fanfare-profile.ini” into Jazz server installation directory (“C:\ProgramFiles\IBM\JazzTeamServer\server\conf\qm\provision_profiles”).
