GSS6700, GSS6300 (M): How can I tell what constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Beidou or GALILEO) are enabled on my simulator?

Answer

Starting either the Positioning Application or SimCHAN software will enable you to add whatever constellations are supported; an error message will be reported for invalid selections

A standalone check can be made using the USB string send utility
- located in either of these locations
  1. C:\Program Files\Spirent Communications\Positioning Application
  2. C:\Program Files\Spirent Communications\SimCHAN
- Query with the ICFG CONST
- Example response ICFG CONST GPSL1:12, GLOL1:12 is a GSS6700 with 12 GPS and 12 GLONASS channels enabled
