Landslide: Which algorithm is applied when the “Slow Start/Congestion Avoidance/Fast Retransmit” is enabled in TCP DMF?
Answer
Landslide’s TCP stack follows the RFC 2581’s definition of Congestion Control. So, Landslide uses the Reno algorithm which is what RFC 2581 is referred to.
Landslide doesn’t support RFC 2582 which is for New Reno modification.
Landslide doesn’t support TCP's Fast Recovery algorithm as well which is specified in RFC 2582.
