Positioning Application: What determines the value of the EOP parameters in the broadcast CNAV data?

Answer
  • EOP parameters in CNAV message Type 32 is taken from the content of the EOP_data.txt file
  • This file is located in the software directory "Datum files" folder, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Spirent Communications\Positioning Application\Datum Files"
     
  • Note for spacecraft vehicle users
    • The vehicle 'Reference file' contains a setting for "EOP data definition"
    • This only applies to the modelling of the spacecraft orbit 
    • To ensure a match between the simulated orbit and the broadcast CNAV message, choose "User file"
