iTest: Why iTest captures an up arrow instead of actual CLI command?
Environment/Versions
iTest
Answer
While capturing any steps in CLI sessions like Telnet:
We can recall any command typed earlier by hitting an up arrow.
But iTest, instead of capturing the exact command (like show arp is below example), captures an ESC (escape) character
"[char ESC]\[A"
.
This issue can be caused, when, we record and add the ESC character under Break option in iTest Session Properties.
To fix this issue, we need to delete the command break character
[char ESC]
, and deleting it won't affect any other executions.
