GNSS Positioning Simulator: When performing the annual customer calibration where are the updated values stored?

Environment/Versions
  • GSS4100 / 4150 / 4200 / 5060 / 6100 / 6300 / 6300M / 6560 / 6700
  • STR4500
  • STR4730 / 4750 / 4760 / 4780 / 4790
  • GSS7700 / 7735 / 7790 / 7800 / 7900
  • GSS8000
Answer
  • Those parameters that are adjusted via direct commands or a GUI interface / utility, the associated offset value is updated and stored on-board the simulator
  • Where the procedure requires manual adjustment using a potentiometer there is, obviously, no offset value to record.
    • The potentiometers new setting is equivalent to 'recording' an offset value, i.e.
      • Reference oscillator frequency
      • IF module carrier breakthrough level
      • RF power level
