Spirent TestCenter: Why does deactivating a BGP or OSPF route block causes stream counters to reset?
Environment/Versions
v4.40
Answer
Because the routes are being bounded to the streamblock, so when you de-active the routes, the stack will go to clean it up and because those routes are being (de-activated) unbounded from the streams, it will cause the port analyzer to reset the counters. This behavior is by design.
