Avalanche: What is the difference between TCPCONN Max Open Connections and Open Connections in run-time results ?
Environment/Versions
Avalanche
Run-Time Results
Answer
The “
TCPCONN Max Open Connections
” determines the maximum number of TCP connections opened on Server during the test run. If the TCP connections are closed after the transactions are completed, this value would not get reduced.
The “
Open Connections
” determines, current number of TCP connections open on server at that point of time. This value increases or decreases based on the load specified (specially during Ramp Up/Down Phase).
