GSS7700, GSS8000: Why do I get error message 'IQ Balance Failed' when running a PCAL

  • PCAL fails with error message on LCD screen 'IQ Balance Fail'
  1. This could be because the system has not been calibrated correctly
    • Please view FAQ10505 for a complete list of calibration procedures
  2. If the relevant calibration procedure has been followed and the error message is still present please contact Global Services, or raise an SR using the 'submit a service request' link on the right hand side of this page
  3. Please provide results obtained from the calibration results for 'Carrier Breakthrough' and 'Image Rejection' sections
