iTest: How to avoid the error "Syntax error in expression "string compare -nocase $a $b": character not legal in expressions".

Answer
  • We will get this error if the syntax for the command string compare -nocase $a $b is wrong in the analysis rule assert step.
  • We can  over come this issue by giving the correct syntax i.e [string compare -nocase $a $b] in the analysi rule assert step.
