Avalanche: How to move the projects from the current workspace directory to a desired directory?

The following are the steps to change the workspace location for the existing projects,

  1. Close the Avalanche Commander if it is open
  2. Move the project folders from the default location to the desired location
    Default location:
    For windowsXp -
    C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Avalanche\
    For windows7 -
    C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Avalanche\
  3. Open projects.xml file with the notepad
    projects.xml location:
    Avalanche version 4.20 or higher,
    C:\ProgramData\Spirent\Avalanche <4.46>\user\<username>\workspaces\Default\
    Avalanche version 4.15 or lower,
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Spirent Communications\Spirent TestCenter <version>\Layer 4-7 Application\user\<username>\
  4. Modify the current path location to the desired path for the projects and Save.

  5. Open Avalanche commander and verify if the projects are accessible

In future, when creating a new project the desired directory can be browsed to save the project in the desired location.
