Attero: How does the "Rate" distribution with the "Misorder" impairment work and are there any limitations?

  • The "Rate" parameter specifies which packet to misorder by the "Depth" parameter. For example: 
    • a 10% rate with a misorder depth of 5 will move every 10th packet 5 out frames deeper into the sequence

  • The rate threshold is about  1 in 6 (about16%) and is independent of the rate of the packets being impaired.
    This is the result when the rate is set to 20%.
