Spirent TestCenter : Why Duration mode is not getting change but Brust size is getting changed in RFC 2544 Throughput test ?

Environment/Versions
  • Configured RFC2544 test,then in All Traffic generator change Duration Mode from "second"to "Brust" and "brust size" =100000.
  • Click apply and start the test. you will see that the Duration remains same and the Burst size would be change.
Answer

 RFC2544 Throughput test does not control burst size, therefore what you configure in the All TrafficGenerators interactive view will take effect. Duration on the other hand, is controlled by RFC test.
