TTworkbench: How is triCall() used?
Environment/Versions
TTworkbench 32/64 Bit Linux/Windows
Answer
The developers coming from the telecom world, where everything is message-driven, may have problem to understand the concept behind triCall.
The procedure-based approach is used to test middleware platforms respectively software.
You may want to test your own written java methods. For this you can use the procedure call to call your method and check the reply value etc.
The
triCall
is an interface method of
TriCommunicationSA
and will be called every time using the
call
statement in TTCN-3. Further information can be found in the TTworkbench built-in example
AddressBookProcedureBased
and in the TTCN-3 Standard
