Avalanche: When trying to reserve ports, I get the error "Port with address x/x is not found under 'chassis_ip'

Environment/Versions
  • Any chassis type
  • Any version
Answer
  • Check that multiple chassis with the same IP address do not exist under the Administration window in the Avalanche GUI
  • If multiple chassis have the same IP address:
    • Remove all appliances with the same IP address from the Administration window
    • Change the management IP address to be distinct for each appliance
    • Close the GUI, kill all Java processes on the host running the GUI
    • Restart the GUI and re-add the devices
