Environment/Versions Spirent TestCetner ARP Answer Open Spirent TestCenter Application. Configure your emulated device. On the device configuration, under Emulated Device Interface tab, disable the Resolve IPv4 Gateway MAC Address option. Manually configure the DUT MAC address by double-clicking at the IPv4 Gateway Mac field. Then go to Settings at the bottom of the left tree view. Open the ARP/ND tab. Enable the options        below: Use configured gateway MAC address: Select to use the gateway MAC address configured on the Emulated Device Interface tab instead of using ARP/ND to resolve the address.  Do Not Expire ARP: Select to store ARP/ND entries permanently instead of refreshing every 20 minutes. You can also try ARP/ND cache option, which will cause the system to check the ARP/ND cache first and use any item it finds there. If there is no item in the cache, the system sends an ARP/ND request.
