Spirent TestCenter: What is the licenses needed to run LSP Ping feature on Spirent TestCenter?

  • Starting from 5.10 release, the only license needed to run LSP Ping is BPK-1341 -INCREMENT 351_LSP_PING_BPK.
    • However the customer would need other MPLS licenses (most of the cases they already have these) to utilize LSP Ping as diagnostic tool for their respective use cases. But there should not be any direct dependency check between LSP ping and other MPLS licenses. MPLS related license check would be taken care in the respective emulations.
  • Refer to KNI16021, where prior to 5.10, LSP Ping emulation was checking for an additional licenses to run (BUG)
