Spirent TestCenter: Does Spirent have a line card that support QSFP56 optics and cable?
Answer
We do support QSFP56 optics and cables in our QSFP-DD ports (PX3-QSFP-DD-8, DX3-QSFP-DD-8 modules), QSFP-DD ports are backwards compatible and can accept legacy QSFP cables and modules (including QSFP56). But you cannot plug a QSFP-DD cable into a QSFP56 port.
