Answer

When you change speeds in a 400G 2-port module this is the way you will see each port being splitted into:
  • 400G: N/A
  • 200G: Each 400G port will be divided into 2 x 200G lanes
  • 100G: Each 400G port will be divided into 4 x 100G lanes
  • * 50G: Each 400G port will be divided into 4 x 50G lanes (You need to change the port to Density-Mode, otherwise by default it will give you 4x50 only)
  • 40G: Each 400G port will be divided into 2 x 40G lanes
  • 25G: Each 400G port will be divided into 8 x 25G lanes
  • 10G: Each 400G port will be divided into 8 x 10G lanes

enlightened* NOTE: Only newer modules (Refer to FAQ11712, 5.14 release notes section that mentions the 80 part number included) supports 8x50 in Density Mode, older modules don't have Density Mode and then will show you only 4x50G

In GUI, when set to 400G you will see ports 1/1 and 1/9, if you changed it to 200G you will see ports 1/1, 1/2 and 1/9, 1/10 and so on...
