There are two supported licensing formats:
  • USB dongle based licensing - requires a USB dongle installed on the hypervisor
  • Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) based licensing - a pure virtual solution
    • ​UUID based licensing is only supported with Spirent TestCenter version 4.52 and later.
While this document describes the Virtual Controller – VM product, the primary software executed on the controller is called the License Server.
