Spirent TestCenter Release Notes (4.77)

Hardware:

Spirent TestCenter release 4.77 added support for the following appliance configurations:

AUTO-C50-KIT-11 AUTOMOTIVE C50 KIT 8-PORT 1G (SFP) & L2-3 SW
AUTO-C50-KIT-12 AUTOMOTIVE C50 KIT 12-PORT 1G (SFP) & L2-3 SW
 

Software:

  • IEEE 1588: Support for one-step mode (PTP protocol)

  • IEEE 802.1AS-Rev Support:

    • One-step Clock mode

    • Clock emulations work in multiple timing domains

    • Fault tolerance in case of failures, using the redundancy feature

    • Profile as a drop-down option

  • IEEE 802.1AS Automotive gPTP: Support for Signaling messages

  • Support for EVPN VPWS Flexible Cross Connect IETF draft

  • Support for EVPN Symmetric IRB (Integrated Routing and Bridging)

  • Added “Discard EVPN Learning” option, to Scale Resolving Bindings VXLAN EVPN Bound Traffic

  • Support for L2VPN VPWS Encapsulation Type (for IPv4 and IPv6 VPLS Routes)

  • Added Multiple Custom PDU/Hex Editor, and Hex Increment Offset, for P2MP LSP
