Spirent TestCenter Release Notes (4.85)

The following is a partial list of new content that is being introduced as part of this release.

Hardware

  • DX3-400GDF-P2, DX3-400GD-P2, DX3-400GO-P2, DX3-400GQ-P2, 2-port CFP8 Test Modules. Supporting 400G speed ONLY on Spirent TestCenter.

Software

  • BGP IPv4/IPv6 Unicast Route Enhancement for Extended Color community

    • Added new Sub-Type under Transitive Opaque Type to support Extended Color Community

  • Segment Routing:

    • Supports IS-IS SRv6 for Control Plane

    • New ISIS SRv6 Capabilities Sub-type

    • BGP SRv6 for Control Plane

      • Supports L3VPN v4/v6 over SRv6 and BGP as control plane to exchange VPN SID information

  • Supports Custom fill increments for BGP IPv4 / IPv6 routes and Next Hop field

  • Spirent TestCenter Virtual now offers beta support for running on AWS on Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) or Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) infrastructure.  Please contact your Spirent sales representative for the image and installation instructions

  • New LAG Profiles:

    • Supports 100G 1x2 port LAG profile for MX3-100GQ-T2 and FX3-100GQ-T2 hardware modules. Supports 10G, 25G, 40G, 50G and 100G port speeds

    • Supports 50G 2x2 port LAG profile for MX3-100GQ-T2 and FX3-100GQ-T2 hardware modules. Supports 10G and 25G port speeds.

    • Supports 25G 2x4 port LAG profile for 25G MX3-25GD-T2 and FX3-25GD-T2 hardware modules. Supports 10G and 25G port speeds

  • Supports High-Level Test API on Windows 10, when used with Tcl 8.4.13
