Spirent TestCenter Release Notes (4.90)

The following is a partial list of new content that is being introduced as part of this release.

  • MX3-QSFP28-4, 4-port QSFP28 Test Module supports 100GbE
  • NEW Hardware Licensing Model
  • PX3-100G 12-port Modules (100/50/25/40/10G) Version B
    • 25GbE Links.  PX3-100G version B 12-port modules support 25GbE links. 
    • 25GbE KR-FEC Mode
    • 25G RS-FEC Mode
  • PX3-100GQ-T12 Revision B 100G Module: Supports 8000 DHCPv4 Address Pool and Sessions with Performance Mode Enabled
 Software
  • PX3-100G 12-port Modules (100/50/25/40/10G) Version B
    • 100G FEC Counters:  Supported in default and Perf mode.
    • 32K Transmit Streams: Supported in 100G Perf mode.
    • Priority Flow Control: Supported in 100G Perf mode.
    • Inner Checksum Calculation: Supported in 100G Perf mode.
    • Pause Frame Count and Rate: Support for all speeds (100G, 50G, 40G, 25G, and 10G).
  • Ethernet Tag Id Increment and Count Per EVI for EVPN Route Types 2, 3, and 5
  • Supports NGFI/ROE (Next Generation Fronthaul Interface/Radio over Ethernet) PDU template and auto response framework
  • HLTAPI Enhancements
    • Create ISIS devices with the isis_config command’s activate mode
    • Create “GreChecksum” headers with the traffic_config command
    • Turn on keepalive in GRE with emulation_gre_config
    • Enable long-duration RFC tests
