The following is a partial list of new content that is being introduced as part of this release.
The New Features document includes detailed descriptions of each new feature and many helpful GUI screen captures. 

400G Platform

• Serviceability features on 400G appliance platforms:​
• 400G Layer 1 Diagnostic Logs​
  • Can collect L1 diagnostics logs on 400G platforms for optical modules​
• Structured Logging​
  • It is logging improvement. It creates classes of structures for normalization of log messages making it easier to read, analyze, and facilitate the filtering of log messages. ​
• Persistent logging ​
  • Logs are now saved to /usr/spirent/log for ease of access after use as well as ensuring logs are not lost.

• RFC 6349 Automatic RTT (Round Trip Time) discovery Mechanism
  • Note: RFC 6349 is sold under a separate license and is dependent on the Enhanced Layer 4-7 feature license. For AION users, RFC 6349 is available as part of the Benchmarking license.
• RTSP with RTP over TCP Unicast Video

• Support for Head of Line Blocking (HOLB) Test

  • IQ Data Compression Mantissa Bit-Width from 1 to 15

• QBu Tx/Rx Supported Added
  • QBu Tx is supported in 2.5G/5G speed on FX2-10G-S8/12/16 module and on NIC-47 in Spirent TestCenter default mode
  • Qbu Rx Analysis is supported in 2.5G/5G speed on FX2-10G-S8/12/16 module and on NIC-47 in STC_ADV TSN mode
  • 802.1CB Rx Analysis Support
    • Hardware Supported:
      • FRER TX is supported in all Hardware types. 
      • FRER RX Analysis is supported in 10G speed on Spirent FX2-10G-Sx, NIC-47 In STC_ADV TSN Mode. 
• PTP Block Support
• CBdb (mask and match stream identification) Support
  • Hardware Supported:
    • TX is supported in all Hardware types. 
    • RX Analysis is supported in following HWs 
      • In 1G speed on Spirent FX2-1G-Sx, MX2-1G-Sx, NIC-65, In STC_ADV TSN Mode.

• New Hardware: AP-C2-KIT-11AX-1E
  • A compact and portable 2U appliance that has IEEE 802.11ax WLAN tri-band 2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz interface card (one Wi-Fi NIC) with Spirent IEEE 802.3bz BASE-T 100Mbps/1Gbps/2.5Gbps/5Gbps/10Gbps Ethernet card on a copper interface
  • Customer can upgrade their existing AP-C2-KIT-11AX-1 appliance to AP-C2-KIT-11AX-1E appliance to extend the test coverage in 6GHz frequency band

• Traffic Consecutive Bad Packets Measurement
  • Measure and record details of every event when packet loss and big packet latency happens
• New Dead Stream Health Indicators
