Spirent TestCenter: How do I determine the amount of streams/flows that are being generated by the amount of routes they configure in TestCenter?

Answer

For numbers of routes that divide equally, the lower numbers cycles enough times to equal the higher number value

R1 (2 routes) -> R2 (4 Routes) = 4 streams/flows
R1 (3 Routes) -> R2 (9 Routes) = 9 streams/flows
R1(20 Routes) -> R2 (200 Routes) = 200 streams/flows

"Endpoint Mapping" for StreamBlocks to be "One to one"

Example:

R1 (2 routes) -> R2 (8 routes) = 8 streams/flows

For numbers of routes that do not divide equally, the lower numbers multiplies higher number value

R1 (3 Routes) -> R2 (8 routes) = 24 streams/flows
R1 (20 Routes) -> R2 (20 routes) = 400 streams/flows

Note: Change the "Endpoint Mapping" for StreamBlocks to be "Many to many"

If you want to get the following,

R1 (30 Routes) -> R2 (254 Routes) = 7620 streams/flows
R1 (30 Routes) -> R2 (255 Routes) = 7650 streams/flows
R1 (30 Routes) -> R2 (256 Routes) = 7680 streams/flows

Example:

R1 (2 Routes) -> R2 (3 routes) = 6 streams/flows
