NG-100G-F2 interface module requires the CPU-5004A module to function.

Installing in a STC 9U chassis (SPT-9000A)

The NG-100G-F2 module can be installed in any slot, except slot 1.  After the NG-100G-F2 module has been installed and the Status LED turns green (10-15 seconds), the CPU-5004A module must be installed in the slot to the immediate left of the NG-100G-F2 module.  Once the CPU-5004A Status LED turns green (10 - 12 minutes), the module set should be operational.

Installing in a STC 2 slot chassis

• SPT-2000A
  The NG-100G-F2 is not supported in this chassis.
• SPT-2000A-HS
  The NG-100G-F2 must be placed in the bottom slot.  Once the Status LED is green (10-15 seconds), the CPU-5004A module can be install in the top slot.  Once the CPU-5004A Status LED turns green (10 - 12 minutes), the module set should be operational.
• SPT-2U
  The NG-100G-F2 must be placed in the top slot.  Once the Status LED is green (10-15 seconds), the CPU-5004A module can be install in the bottom slot.  Once the CPU-5004A Status LED turns green (10 - 12 minutes), the module set should be operational.
