When mobile automation is enabled, during initialization phase, PLTS will try to connect to the mobile via UTS connection by using the UTS driver and COM port info provided in the mobile file. If there's any issue causing failure to connect at that time, the test will continue but PLTS will not use UTS driver but pops up windows to start GPS session as it's running user assistant mode. The solution is to make sure the mobile connection is ready and good before starting the test
